Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तांश्च वानरशार्दूलान् पश्यध्वं मे पराक्रमम् ।
अद्य मत्कार्मुकोत्सृष्टं शरवर्षं दुरासदम् ॥६-८८-६॥
tāṃśca vānaraśārdūlān paśyadhvaṃ me parākramam |
adya matkārmukotsṛṣṭaṃ śaravarṣaṃ durāsadam ॥6-88-6॥
Translation
(Indrajit said) And O tigers among monkeys! Behold my valor. Today, the shower of arrows released from my bow will be impossible to withstand.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(इन्द्रजीत ने कहा) और हे वानर वीरों! मेरे पराक्रम को देखो। आज मेरे धनुष से छोड़ी गई बाणों की वर्षा को सहना असंभव होगा।
English Commentary
Indrajit's confidence remains unshaken. He challenges not just Lakshmana but the entire monkey army. 'Durasadam' means something difficult to approach or withstand. He is attempting psychological warfare, implying that his wrath will rain down upon the entire army.

इन्द्रजीत का आत्मविश्वास अभी भी अटूट है। वह केवल लक्ष्मण को नहीं, अपितु पूरी वानर सेना को ललकार रहा है। 'दुरासदम्' का अर्थ है जिसे पास जाकर सहना कठिन हो। वह मनोवैज्ञानिक दबाव बनाने का प्रयास कर रहा है, यह जताते हुए कि उसका क्रोध पूरी सेना पर बरसेगा।
