युवां खलु महायुद्धे शक्राशनिसमैः शरैः ।
शायितौ प्रथमं भूमौ विसञ्ज्ञौ सपुरस्सरौ ॥६-८९-१०॥
yuvāṃ khalu mahāyuddhe śakrāśanisamaiḥ śaraiḥ |
śāyitau prathamaṃ bhūmau visañjñau sapurassarau ॥6-89-10॥
Translation
Indeed, in that great battle, I laid both of you, along with your followers, unconscious on the ground with arrows like Indra's thunderbolt.
हिंदी अनुवाद
निश्चय ही उस महायुद्ध में मैंने इन्द्र के वज्र समान बाणों से तुम दोनों को अनुचरों सहित पहले पृथ्वी पर बेहोश करके सुला दिया था।
English Commentary
He is arrogantly boasting of his power. By saying 'sapurassarau' (with followers), he reminds them of the defeat of the entire army.
हिंदी टीका
वह अपनी शक्ति का अहंकारपूर्ण बखान कर रहा है। 'सपुरस्सरौ' (अनुचरों सहित) कहकर वह पूरी सेना की हार की याद दिला रहा है।
