अथ समरपरिश्रमं निहन्तुं समरमुखेष्वजितस्य लक्ष्मणस्य ।
प्रियहितमुपपादयन् महौजाः समरमुपेत्य विभीषणोऽवतस्थे ॥६-८९-४२॥
atha samarapariśramaṃ nihantuṃ samaramukheṣvajitasya lakṣmaṇasya |
priyahitamupapādayan mahaujāḥ samaramupetya vibhīṣaṇo'vatasthe ॥6-89-42॥
Translation
Then, to dispel the battle-fatigue of Lakshmana, who was unconquered in the forefront of battles, doing what was dear and beneficial, the highly energetic Vibhishana entered the battle and stood (by him).
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब युद्ध के मोर्चों पर अपराजित लक्ष्मण के युद्ध-श्रम को दूर करने के लिए, उनका प्रिय और हित करते हुए, महातेजस्वी विभीषण युद्ध में आकर (उनके पास) खड़े हो गए।
English Commentary
Entry of Vibhishana. He comes to aid and encourage Lakshmana, so that Lakshmana gets some respite or support.

विभीषण का प्रवेश। वे लक्ष्मण की सहायता और उत्साहवर्धन के लिए आते हैं, ताकि लक्ष्मण को थोड़ा विश्श्री राम या समर्थन मिल सके।
