एतावदेव शेषं वो जेतव्यमिह वानराः ।
हताः सर्वे समागम्य राक्षसा बलदर्पिताः ॥६-९०-१६॥
etāvadeva śeṣaṃ vo jetavyamiha vānarāḥ |
hatāḥ sarve samāgamya rākṣasā baladarpitāḥ ॥6-90-16॥
Translation
O monkeys! Only this much remains for you to conquer here. All those Rakshasas, who were arrogant in their strength, have been gathered together and slain.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरों! अब यहाँ आपको केवल इतना ही जीतना शेष है। अपने बल के घमण्ड में चूर वे सभी राक्षस एक साथ मिलकर मारे जा चुके हैं।
English Commentary
Shri Vibhishana underscores the hollowness of Lanka's remaining forces. Being 'Baladarpitah' (intoxicated with pride in strength) was the primary cause of the Rakshasas' ruin. He incites the Vanaras for the final strike. This verse points toward the conclusion of the war, where only the last hurdle (Indrajit) remains to be cleared.

विभीषण जी लंका की सेना की रिक्तता को रेखांकित करते हैं। 'बलदॢपतः' (शक्ति के घमण्ड में चूर) होना ही राक्षसों के विनाश का कारण बना। वे वानरों को अंतिम प्रहार के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे हैं। यह श्लोक युद्ध के उपसंहार की ओर संकेत करता है, जहाँ अब केवल अंतिम बाधा (इन्द्रजित) को हटाना शेष था।
