देवासुराणां क्रुद्धानां यथा भीमो महास्वनः ।
हनुमानपि सङ्क्रुद्धः सालमुत्पाट्य वीर्यवान् ॥६-९०-२५॥
devāsurāṇāṃ kruddhānāṃ yathā bhīmo mahāsvanaḥ |
hanumānapi saṅkrūddhaḥ sālamutpāṭya vīryavān ॥6-90-25॥
Translation
A noise as terrifying as that of the war between enraged Gods and Demons arose. Then the valiant Hanuman, filled with rage, uprooted a Sala tree.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे क्रोधित देवताओं और असुरों के युद्ध का भयंकर शब्द होता है, वैसा ही कोलाहल हुआ। तब वीर हनुमान जी ने भी क्रोध में भरकर एक साल का वृक्ष उखाड़ लिया।
English Commentary
Once again, the analogy to the Devasura war establishes the divine and terrifying nature of the conflict. Shri Hanuman becoming 'Sankruddhah' (exceedingly enraged) is a harbinger of destruction for the Rakshasas. The Sala tree ('Shalam') is a symbol of His boundless physical strength. He was ready to move through the battlefield like Lord Rudra personified.

पुनः देवासुर संग्श्री राम की उपमा युद्ध की दिव्यता और भयंकरता को स्थापित करती है। श्री हनुमान जी का 'सङ्क्रुद्धः' (अत्यंत क्रोधित) होना राक्षसों के लिए विनाश की पूर्वसूचना है। साल का वृक्ष (शालम्) उनकी अगाध शारीरिक शक्ति का प्रतीक है। वे अब रणभूमि में साक्षात् रुद्र के समान विचरने के लिए तैयार थे।
