तदद्भुतमभूत्तत्र सामर्थ्यं पश्यतां युधि ।
हयेषु व्यग्रहस्तं तं विव्याध निशितैः शरैः ॥६-९०-४४॥
tadadbhutamabhūttatra sāmarthyaṃ paśyatāṃ yudhi |
hayeṣu vyagrahastaṃ taṃ vivyādha niśitaiḥ śaraīḥ ॥6-90-44॥
Translation
It was a scene of wonderful capability for the spectators in the battle. Lakshmana pierced Indrajit with sharp arrows while his hands were occupied with managing the horses.
हिंदी अनुवाद
युद्ध में देखने वालों के लिए वह एक अद्भुत सामर्थ्य का दृश्य था। घोड़ों को संभालने में व्यस्त इन्द्रजित को लक्ष्मण ने तीखे बाणों से बेध दिया।
English Commentary
This scene is highly technical and thrilling. Indrajit was multi-tasking—controlling the horses and fighting. Shri Lakshmana exploited this preoccupation ('Vyagrahastam'). The phrase 'wonderful capability' salutes the expertise of both warriors in their respective crafts. Lakshmana, displaying supreme concentration, granted the enemy no respite.

युद्ध का यह दृश्य अत्यंत तकनीकी और रोमांचक है। इन्द्रजित एक साथ दो कार्य कर रहा था—घोड़ों को नियंत्रित करना और युद्ध। श्री लक्ष्मण जी ने उसकी इस विवशता (व्यग्रहस्तम्) का लाभ उठाया। 'अद्भुतम् सामर्थ्यम्' शब्द दोनों योद्धाओं की अपनी-अपनी कला में निपुणता को सलाम करते हैं। लक्ष्मण जी ने यहाँ अपनी एकाग्रता का परिचय देते हुए शत्रु को संभलने का मौका नहीं दिया।
