अधिष्ठितं हयज्ञेन सूतेनाप्तोपदेशिना ।
आरुरोह महातेजा रावणिः समितिञ्जयः ॥६-९१-१०॥
adhiṣṭhitaṃ hayajñena sūtenāptopadeśinā |
āruroha mahātejā rāvaṇiḥ samitiñjayaḥ ॥6-91-10॥
Translation
The highly radiant Indrajit, the conqueror of assemblies (battles), mounted that chariot which was driven by a charioteer skilled in horse-lore and capable of giving sound advice.

घोड़ों के स्वभाव को जानने वाले और उचित परामर्श देने वाले सारथी द्वारा संचालित उस रथ पर महातेजस्वी और युद्धों को जीतने वाले इन्द्रजित ने आरोहण किया।
English Commentary
A charioteer's role is critical for a warrior. Indrajit's charioteer was 'Hayajna' (knowledgeable of horses) and 'Aptopadeshina' (a trusted advisor), providing him with a tactical edge. Calling Indrajit 'Samitinjayah' (victorious in battle) honors his past successes. He was now fully prepared to face Shri Lakshmana, signaling the next decisive turn in the conflict.

एक योद्धा के लिए सारथी की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण होती है। इन्द्रजित का सारथी 'हयज्ञ' (घोड़ों का ज्ञाता) और 'आप्तोपदेशिना' (सही सलाह देने वाला) था, जो उसे युद्ध में अतिरिक्त लाभ प्रदान करता था। इन्द्रजित को 'समितिञ्जयः' कहना उसकी पूर्व की विजयों का सम्मान है। वह अब पूरी तैयारी के साथ श्री लक्ष्मण जी का सामना करने के लिए तैयार था, जो युद्ध के अगले निर्णायक मोड़ की सूचना है।
