ततो रथस्तमालोक्य सौमित्री रावणात्मजम् ।
वानराश्च महावीर्या राक्षसश्च विभीषणः ॥६-९१-१३॥
tato rathastamālokya saumitrī rāvaṇātmajam |
vānarāśca mahāvīryā rākṣasaśca vibhīṣaṇaḥ ॥6-91-13॥
Translation
Then, beholding the son of Ravana (Indrajit) mounted on his chariot, Lakshmana (son of Sumitra), the highly valiant Vanaras, and the Rakshasa Vibhishana—

तब रथ पर सवार रावण के पुत्र (इन्द्रजित) को देखकर सुमित्रानन्दन लक्ष्मण, महावीर्यवान वानर और राक्षस विभीषण—
English Commentary
Seeing the enemy return fully re-equipped was a matter of surprise for the Vanara host. The combined presence of Shri Lakshmana, Vibhishana, and the Vanaras signifies a strong alliance. All were alert for a singular goal. Indrajit's position on the chariot granted him height and defensive advantages, which the Vanaras had to overcome through their physical prowess.

शत्रु को पुनः सुसज्जित होकर लौटते देखना वानर सेना के लिए विस्मय का विषय था। यहाँ श्री लक्ष्मण, विभीषण और वानरों की संयुक्त उपस्थिति एक सुदृढ़ गठबंधन को दर्शाती है। वे सभी एक ही लक्ष्य के लिए सतर्क थे। इन्द्रजित का रथ पर होना उसे ऊँचाई और सुरक्षा का लाभ दे रहा था, जिसे वानरों को अपने बाहुबल से काटना था।
