तदप्यस्य त्रिभिर्बाणैर्लक्ष्मणो निरकृन्तत ।
अथैनं छिन्नधन्वानमाशीविषविषोपमैः ॥६-९१-१९॥
tadapya sya tribhirbāṇair lakṣmaṇo nirakṛntata |
athainaṃ chinnadhanvānamāśīviṣaviṣopamaiḥ ॥6-91-19॥
Translation
Lakshmana severed that second bow of his as well with three arrows. Then, at that bowless demon, with arrows resembling poisonous serpents—

लक्ष्मण ने उसके उस दूसरे धनुष को भी तीन बाणों से काट दिया। फिर उस धनुषहीन राक्षस को विषैले सर्पों के समान बाणों से—
English Commentary
Shri Lakshmana granted Indrajit no respite. The precise use of 'three arrows' illustrates the subtlety and exactness of His archery. Rendering Indrajit 'Chinnadhanvanam' (bowless) was a significant step toward making him vulnerable. Lakshmana's aggressive stance was intended to strike terror into the hearts of the foes.

श्री लक्ष्मण जी इन्द्रजित को संभलने का कोई अवसर नहीं दे रहे थे। 'तीन बाणों' का सटीक प्रयोग उनकी अस्त्र-विद्या की सूक्ष्मता को दर्शाता है। इन्द्रजित का 'छिन्नधन्वानम्' (धनुषहीन) होना उसे असहाय बनाने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम था। यहाँ लक्ष्मण जी का आक्रामक रूप शत्रुओं के हृदय को दहलाने वाला था।
