मण्डलान्यभिधावन्तस्तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ।
अमर्षवशमापन्नः सौमित्रिर्द्दढविक्रमः ॥६-९१-३०॥

amarṣavaśamāpannaḥ saumitrir dṛḍhavikramaḥ ॥6-91-30॥
Translation
Those horses began running in circles (mandala), which was a truly wonderful sight. Then, the son of Sumitra (Lakshmana), possessed of firm prowess and yielding to indignation—

English Commentary
The horses running in circles ('Mandala') without a driver effectively stabilized the chariot's position, preventing Indrajit from aiming properly. This was a 'wonderful' (unusual) sight for the onlookers. Shri Lakshmana's 'Amarsha' (indignation) reflects His intolerance for unrighteousness. He was now determined to end this tactical cat-and-mouse game.

सारथी के बिना घोड़ों का गोल घूमना (मण्डलाकार) सामरिक रूप से रथ को स्थिर करने जैसा था, जिससे इन्द्रजित निशाना नहीं साध पा रहा था। यह दृश्य देखने वालों के लिए 'अद्भुत' था। श्री लक्ष्मण जी का 'अमर्ष' (क्रोध) अधर्म के प्रति उनकी नफरत को दर्शाता है। वे अब इस लुका-छिपी के खेल को समाप्त करने के लिए उद्यत थे।
