रथशक्तिं महातेजाः पितृव्याय मुमोच ह ।
तामापतन्तीं सम्प्रेक्ष्य सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनः ॥६-९१-४४॥

English Commentary
Indrajit hurling the 'Shakti' missile was his final attempt to eliminate Vibhishana. This weapon is considered extremely lethal. Here, Shri Lakshmana's role as the protector of His ally and refugee shines through. He stands as a shield for Vibhishana, demonstrating the Lord's vow to safeguard His devotees.

इन्द्रजित का 'शक्ति' अस्त्र छोड़ना विभीषण जी को समाप्त करने का उसका अंतिम प्रयास था। यह अस्त्र अत्यंत घातक माना जाता है। यहाँ श्री लक्ष्मण जी का 'सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनः' रूप उभरता है—वे अपने मित्र और शरणागत विभीषण की रक्षा के लिए ढाल बनकर खड़े हुए। यह दृश्य भगवान के अपने भक्तों के प्रति सुरक्षा के संकल्प को दर्शाता है।
