मुखेन मुखमाहत्य सन्निपेततुरोजसा ।
सन्निपातस्तयोरासीच्छरयोर्घोररूपयोः ॥६-९१-५३॥
mukhena mukhamāhatya sannipetaturōjasā |
sannipātastayōrāsīccharayōrghōrarūpayōḥ ॥6-91-53॥
Translation
Striking each other head-to-head, those two arrows fell with great force (Ojas). The collision between those two terrifying shafts was truly formidable.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे दोनों बाण एक-दूसरे के मुख से टकराकर बड़े वेग (ओज) से गिर पड़े। उन दोनों भयंकर बाणों का वह मिलन (टकराव) अत्यंत भीषण था।
English Commentary
This describes the mid-air collision of the arrows. Hitting 'head-to-head' proves the unerring marksmanship of both. Their skills were so evenly matched that the arrows neutralized each other in flight. The word 'Ojasa' reveals the massive energy released by this impact. It was the final moment of equilibrium between the forces of Dharma and Adharma.

यहाँ बाणों के आपसी टकराव का वर्णन है। 'मुखेन मुखम्' (मुख से मुख) का टकराना उनकी अचूक निशानेबाजी को सिद्ध करता है। दोनों योद्धाओं का कौशल इतना समान था कि बाण हवा में ही एक-दूसरे को काट रहे थे। 'ओजसा' शब्द उस प्रचंड ऊर्जा को प्रकट करता है जो इस टकराव से मुक्त हुई। यह धर्म और अधर्म की शक्तियों के संतुलन का अंतिम क्षण था।
