अथान्यं मार्गणश्रेष्ठं सन्दधे राघवानुजः ।
हुताशनसमस्पर्शं रावणात्मजदारणम् ॥६-९१-६६॥
athānyaṃ mārgaṇaśrēṣṭhaṃ saṃdadhē rāghavānujaḥ |
hutāśanasamaspārśaṃ rāvaṇātmajadāraṇam ॥6-91-66॥
Translation
Then the younger brother of Shri Rama (Lakshmana) fixed another excellent arrow, which was like fire to the touch and capable of tearing apart the son of Ravana.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब श्री रघुनाथ जी के छोटे भाई (लक्ष्मण) ने एक दूसरे श्रेष्ठ बाण का संधान किया, जो अग्नि के समान स्पर्श वाला और रावण के पुत्र (इन्द्रजित) को विदीर्ण करने वाला था।
English Commentary
Shri Lakshmana is now advancing toward the final strike. The phrase 'Hutashana-sama-sparsham' (fire-like touch) reveals the searing power of the arrow. This shaft was destined to tear through ('Daranam') not just Indrajit's body, but his pride and illusions as well. Lakshmana stands here in His full might and dignity as 'Raghavanuja'.
हिंदी टीका
श्री लक्ष्मण जी अब अंतिम प्रहार की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं। 'हुताशन-सम-स्पर्शम्' (अग्नि जैसा स्पर्श) शब्द बाण की दाहक शक्ति को प्रकट करते हैं। यह बाण केवल शरीर को नहीं, बल्कि इन्द्रजित के अहंकार और उसकी माया को भी विदीर्ण (दार्णम्) करने वाला था। लक्ष्मण जी यहाँ 'राघवानुज' के रूप में अपनी पूरी शक्ति और गरिमा के साथ खड़े हैं।
