Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
विज्वराः शान्तकलुषा ब्राह्मणा विचरन्त्विति ।
ततो ऽभ्यनन्दन् संहृष्टाः समरे हरियूथपाः ॥६-९१-९३॥
vijvarāḥ śāntakaluṣā brāhmaṇā vicarantviti |
tato 'bhyanandan saṃhṛṣṭāḥ samare hariyūthapāḥ ॥6-91-93॥
Translation
"May the Brahmanas now move about free from anxiety and free from trouble." Then, the overjoyed monkey leaders congratulated (Lakshmana) on the battlefield.
हिंदी अनुवाद
"अब ब्राह्मण ज्वर (संताप) रहित और पाप/दोष से मुक्त होकर विचरण करें।" तदनन्तर युद्धभूमि में हर्षित वानर यूथपतियों ने (लक्ष्मण का) अभिनन्दन किया।
English Commentary
The primary concern of the Devas and Rishis is the protection of Dharma. Their first reaction was that Brahmanas could now move and perform sacrifices without fear. 'Vijvarah' means freedom from mental fever or anxiety. Indrajit had greatly obstructed religious activities. The congratulations from the monkey leaders display their gratitude and respect for Lakshmana.

देवताओं और ऋषियों का मुख्य सरोकार धर्म की रक्षा है। उनकी पहली प्रतिक्रिया यही थी कि अब ब्राह्मण निर्भय होकर विचरण और यज्ञादि कर सकें। 'विज्वराः' का अर्थ है मानसिक संताप से मुक्ति। इंद्रजित ने धार्मिक कार्यों में बहुत बाधा डाली थी। वानर यूथपतियों का अभिनंदन लक्ष्मण जी के प्रति कृतज्ञता और सम्मान का प्रदर्शन है।
