English Commentary
Here Indrajit is called 'nairritapungava' (bull/best among Rakshasas) and 'apratibala' (of matchless strength). Even as an enemy, Valmiki does not deny his valor. Vibhishana, Hanuman, and Jambavan—the three pillars of Shri Rama's army—understood the magnitude of this killing because they knew how nearly impossible it was to defeat Indrajit.

यहाँ इंद्रजित को 'नैर्ऋतपुंगव' (राक्षसों में सांड़/श्रेष्ठ) और 'अप्रतिबल' (जिसके बल का कोई सामना न कर सके) कहा गया है। शत्रु होने पर भी वाल्मीकि जी उसके शौर्य को अस्वीकार नहीं करते। विभीषण, हनुमान और जाम्बवान—श्री राम सेना के तीन प्रमुख स्तंभ—ने इस वध के महत्व को समझा क्योंकि वे जानते थे कि इंद्रजित को हराना कितना असंभव था।
