लब्धलक्षा रघुसुतं परिवार्योपतस्थिरे ।
लाङ्गूलानि प्रविध्यन्तः स्फोटयन्तश्च वानराः ॥६-९१-९६॥
labdhalakṣā raghusutaṃ parivāryopatasthire |
lāṅgūlāni pravidhyantaḥ sphoṭayantaśca vānarāḥ ॥6-91-96॥
Translation
Having obtained the object of their desire (victory), the monkeys surrounded the son of Raghu and stood by him. They waved and slammed their tails.
हिंदी अनुवाद
विजय प्राप्त करने वाले वानरों ने रघुनंदन (लक्ष्मण) को घेर लिया और उनकी सेवा में उपस्थित हो गए। वे अपनी पूंछों को घुमाते और पटकते थे।
English Commentary
The monkeys' behavior is full of affection and enthusiasm. Slamming their tails is their gesture of victory. They surrounded Lakshmana, showing a sense of protection and reverence. 'Labdhalaksha' means those who have attained their goal. The killing of Indrajit was their immediate objective, and upon its completion, they were attributing the credit to Lakshmana.

वानरों का व्यवहार अत्यंत प्रेमपूर्ण और उत्साहजनक है। अपनी पूंछों को पटकना उनकी विजय मुद्रा है। वे लक्ष्मण जी को घेरकर खड़े हो गए, जो उनके प्रति सुरक्षा और सम्मान का भाव दर्शाता है। 'लब्धलक्षा' का अर्थ है जिन्होंने अपना लक्ष्य पा लिया है। इंद्रजित का वध ही उनका तत्कालीन लक्ष्य था, जिसके पूर्ण होने पर वे लक्ष्मण को श्रेय दे रहे थे।
