ततः स जाम्बवन्तं च हनुमन्तं च वीर्यवान् ।
सन्निहत्य महातेजास्तांश्च सर्वान् वनौकसः ॥६-९२-२॥
tataḥ sa jāmbavantaṃ ca hanumantaṃ ca vīryavān |
sannihatya mahātejāstāṃśca sarvān vanaukasaḥ ॥6-92-2॥
Translation
Thereafter, that mighty and highly resplendent Lakshmana, taking along Jambavan, Hanuman, and all those forest-dwellers (Vanaras).
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, उस महातेजस्वी और वीर्यवान लक्ष्मण ने जाम्बवान और हनुमान तथा उन सभी वनवासियों (वानरों) को साथ लिया।
English Commentary
This verse highlights Lakshmana's leadership and humility. Even though he is the primary victor ('mahātejā' or one of great splendor) who defeated the invincible Indrajit, he does not rush to claim glory alone. By gathering Jambavan, Hanuman, and the other Vanaras before approaching Lord Shri Rama, he acknowledges their crucial support in the battle. It illustrates the principle that great victories in the Ramayana are often collective efforts led by divine heroes.

इस श्लोक में लक्ष्मणजी की नेतृत्व क्षमता और कृतज्ञता का भाव झलकता है। यद्यपि इंद्रजीत का वध मुख्य रूप से लक्ष्मणजी के बाणों से हुआ, किंतु वे इस विजय का श्रेय अकेले नहीं लेते। वे 'महातेजा' (महान तेज वाले) होकर भी अपने सहयोगियों—जाम्बवान और हनुमान—को साथ लेकर ही श्रीश्री राम के पास जाने का निर्णय लेते हैं। यह एक आदर्श नायक का लक्षण है जो सफलता के क्षणों में अपने साथियों को विस्मृत नहीं करता।
