अपूजयन् कर्म स लक्ष्मणस्य सुदुष्करं दाशरथिर्महात्मा ।
हृष्टा बभूवुर्युधि यूथपेन्द्रा निपातितं शक्रजितं निशम्य ॥६-९२-२८॥
apūjayan karma sa lakṣmaṇasya suduṣkaraṃ dāśarathirmahātmā |
hṛṣṭā babhūvuryudhi yūthapendrā nipātitaṃ śakrajitaṃ niśamya ॥6-92-28॥
Translation
The great-souled son of Dasharatha honored that extremely difficult deed of Lakshmana. The commanders of the army became delighted hearing that Indrajit had been struck down in battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
महात्मा दशरथनंदन (श्रीश्री राम) ने लक्ष्मण के उस अत्यंत कठिन कर्म की पूजा (प्रशंसा) की। युद्ध में इंद्रजीत को गिराया हुआ सुनकर वानर सेनापति अत्यंत हर्षित हुए।
English Commentary
The chapter concludes with honor ('apūjayan') bestowed by the supreme authority, Shri Rama. He formally recognizes the 'suduṣkaraṃ' (extremely difficult) feat. The joy of the monkey generals confirms that the psychological stranglehold Indrajit had on the army is broken. This sets the stage for the final battle, with the army's confidence fully restored.

सर्ग का समापन लक्ष्मण की प्रशंसा और विजय के घोष के साथ होता है। श्रीश्री राम ने लक्ष्मण के कर्म का 'पूजन' किया, अर्थात उसका सर्वोच्च सम्मान किया। वानर यूथपतियों का हर्ष इस बात का प्रमाण है कि इंद्रजीत का भय समाप्त हो गया है। 'सुदुष्करं' शब्द पुनः याद दिलाता है कि यह विजय साधारण नहीं थी। यह सर्ग निराशा से आशा और विजय की ओर की यात्रा है।
