यः कृते हन्यते भर्तुः स पुमान् स्वर्गमृच्छति ।
अद्य देवगणाः सर्वे लोकपालास्तथर्षयः ॥६-९३-१०॥
yaḥ kṛte hanyate bhartuḥ sa pumān svargamṛcchati |
adya devagaṇāḥ sarve lokapālāstatharṣayaḥ ॥6-93-10॥

English Commentary
Ravana validates Indrajit's loyalty, stating that dying for one's master guarantees heaven. This frames Indrajit as a martyr for Lanka. However, Ravana immediately shifts focus to the geopolitical consequences—the relief his enemies (gods and sages) will feel. This reveals Ravana's awareness of being the terror of the universe.

पहली पंक्ति में रावण इंद्रजीत की स्वामी-भक्ति (अपने पिता और राजा के प्रति) की प्रशंसा करता है। लेकिन दूसरी पंक्ति से स्वर बदल जाता है। रावण को चिंता है कि उसके शत्रुओं को अब राहत मिलेगी। वह जानता है कि इंद्रजीत का भय तीनों लोकों में व्याप्त था।
