हतमिन्द्रजितं श्रुत्वा सुखं स्वप्स्यन्ति निर्भयाः ।
अद्य लोकास्त्रयः कृत्स्ना पृथिवी च सकानना ॥६-९३-११॥
hatamindrajitaṃ śrutvā sukhaṃ svapsyanti nirbhayāḥ |
adya lokāstrayaḥ kṛtsnā pṛthivī ca sakānanā ॥6-93-11॥

...hearing that Indrajit is killed, will sleep happily without fear. Today, the entire three worlds and the earth with its forests...

English Commentary
The phrasing 'sukhaṃ svapsyanti' (will sleep happily) underscores the constant state of terror Indrajit imposed on the cosmos. Ravana realizes that with his son's death, the psychological dominance of the Rakshasas is broken. The world becomes 'fearless', which for a tyrant like Ravana, is a loss of power.

रावण को पीड़ा है कि उसका 'आतंक' कम हो गया है। इंद्रजीत के जीवित रहते देवता भी चैन से नहीं सोते थे। अब वे 'निर्भय' होकर सोएंगे। यह रावण के लिए हार की अनुभूति है—शत्रु का भयमुक्त होना ही उसकी सबसे बड़ी पराजय है।
