युगान्ते सह नक्रैस्तु महोर्मिभिरिवोदधिः ।
कोपाद्विजृम्भमाणस्य वक्त्राद् व्यक्तमभिज्वलन् ॥६-९३-१९॥
yugānte saha nakraistu mahormibhirivodadhiḥ |
kopādvijṛmbhamāṇasya vaktrād vyaktamabhijwalan ॥6-93-19॥
Translation
Like the ocean with crocodiles and huge waves at the end of the Yuga, he became agitated. As he yawned in anger, fire visibly blazed forth from his mouth.
हिंदी अनुवाद
प्रलयकाल (युगांत) में मगरमच्छों और बड़ी लहरों सहित समुद्र की भांति वह क्षुब्ध हो उठा। क्रोध से जम्हाई लेते हुए उसके मुख से स्पष्ट रूप से आग निकलने लगी।
English Commentary
The imagery shifts to cosmic destruction ('yugānte'). Ravana is volatile like a turbulent ocean. The description of fire ('abhijwalan') issuing from his mouth while yawning illustrates the supernatural intensity of his heat and rage. He is becoming a personification of catastrophe.

रावण की तुलना 'युगांत' (प्रलय) के समुद्र से की गई है, जो विनाशकारी है। 'विजृम्भमाणस्य' (जम्हाई लेते हुए) मुख से अग्नि निकलना उसके तप और राक्षसी तेज का परिचायक है। यह अतिशयोक्ति नहीं, बल्कि उसके रौद्र रूप का काव्यमयी चित्रण है।
