युद्धे हतो महाराज लक्ष्मणेन तवात्मजः ।
विभीषणसहायेन मिषतां नो महाद्युतिः ॥६-९३-२॥
yuddhe hato mahārāja lakṣmaṇena tavātmajaḥ |
vibhīṣaṇasahāyena miṣatāṃ no mahādyutiḥ ॥6-93-2॥
Translation
"O Great King! Your son of great radiance has been killed in battle by Lakshmana with the assistance of Vibhishana, while we looked on."

हे महाराज! विभीषण की सहायता से लक्ष्मण ने युद्ध में आपके महातेजस्वी पुत्र को मार डाला, और हम सब देखते ही रह गए।
English Commentary
The report is factual but laden with implications. By mentioning Vibhishana's assistance, the ministers highlight the internal betrayal that led to the downfall of the mighty Indrajit ('mahādyutiḥ').
