अहो धिङ्मन्निमित्तो ऽयं विनाशो राजपुत्रयोः ।
अथवा पुत्रशोकेन अहत्वा रामलक्ष्मणौ ॥६-९३-५३॥
aho dhiṅmannimitto 'yaṃ vināśo rājaputrayoḥ |
athavā putraśokena ahatvā rāmalakṣmaṇau ॥6-93-53॥

English Commentary
Sita vacillates between self-blame and analysis. She cries 'dhik' (shame/alas) thinking she caused the princes' death. Then she reconsiders—maybe Ravana is reacting to 'putraśoka' (grief for his son Indrajit). Even in terror, she tries to deduce the strategic reality.
