शरीरनाभिसत्त्वार्चिः शरीरं नेमिकार्मुकम् ।
ज्याघोषतलनिर्घोषं तेजोबुद्धिगुणप्रभम् ॥६-९४-२९॥
śarīranābhisattvārciḥ śarīraṃ nemikārmukam |
jyāghoṣatalanirghoṣaṃ tejobuddhiguṇaprabham ॥6-94-29॥
Translation
His body was the hub, his strength the flame, arrows the spokes, and the bow the rim. The twang of the bowstring and the sound of the palm-guard were its roar. Splendor, intellect, and virtues were its radiance.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(उस कालचक्र रूपी श्री राम का) शरीर नाभि है, बल ज्वाला है, बाण अरे हैं, धनुष नेमि (परिधि) है। प्रत्यंचा की टंकार और तलत्राण का शब्द उसकी ध्वनि है। तेज, बुद्धि और गुण उसकी प्रभा है।
English Commentary
Valmiki constructs a complex metaphor of a 'Chakra' (Wheel) to describe Shri Rama's battle stance. Shri Rama is the central hub holding it together. His weapons form the structure (spokes/rim), while his internal qualities (intellect, splendor) provide the energy. It presents warfare not just as violence, but as a disciplined, almost mechanical exercise of divine will.

यह श्लोक और अगला श्लोक मिलकर 'श्री राम-चक्र' (युद्ध रूपी पहिये) का एक अद्भुत रूपक प्रस्तुत करते हैं। श्री राम स्वयं इस चक्र का केंद्र (नाभि) हैं। उनका बल और गुण इस चक्र को गति और प्रकाश दे रहे हैं। यह वर्णन महाभारत के कालचक्र वर्णन की याद दिलाता है। श्री राम यहाँ काल (समय/मृत्यु) के साक्षात स्वरूप बन गए हैं।
