सर्वे भवन्तः सर्वेण हस्त्यश्वेन समावृताः ।
निर्यान्तु रथसङ्घैश्च पादातैश्चोपशोभिताः ॥६-९४-३॥
sarve bhavantaḥ sarveṇa hastyashvena samāvṛtāḥ |
niryāntu rathasaṅghaiśca pādātaiścopaśobhitāḥ ॥6-94-3॥
Translation
May all of you set forth, surrounded by the entire force of elephants and horses, and adorned with multitudes of chariots and infantry.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आप सभी लोग हाथियों और घोड़ों की समस्त सेना से घिरकर, तथा रथों के समूहों और पैदल सैनिकों से सुसज्जित होकर युद्ध के लिए निकलें।
English Commentary
Ravana orders a total mobilization. The use of 'sarve' (all) indicates that he is deploying his reserve forces and every available unit. He aims to overwhelm the enemy with the sheer magnitude of a four-limbed army (chaturangini sena)—elephants, cavalry, chariots, and infantry. It signifies a 'do or die' strategy where no resources are being held back.

रावण यहाँ अपनी शेष बची हुई पूरी शक्ति को एक साथ झोंकने का आदेश दे रहा है। वह अब किसी भी प्रकार का रक्षण या संचय नहीं करना चाहता। 'सर्वे' और 'सर्वेण' शब्दों की पुनरावृत्ति यह बताती है कि यह एक निर्णायक युद्ध है। वह चतुरंगिणी सेना (हाथी, घोड़े, रथ, पैदल) के पूर्ण बल के साथ श्री राम पर आक्रमण करना चाहता है।
