Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ततो देवाः सगन्धर्वाः सिद्धाश्च परमर्षयः ।
साधु साध्विति रामस्य तत् कर्म समपूजयन् ॥६-९४-३६॥
tato devāḥ sagandharvāḥ siddhāśca paramarṣayaḥ |
sādhu sādhviti rāmasya tat karma samapūjayan ॥6-94-36॥
Translation
Then the gods, along with Gandharvas, Siddhas, and great sages, worshipped (praised) that deed of Shri Rama, exclaiming 'Excellent! Excellent!'
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब गंधर्वों, सिद्धों और परम ऋषियों सहित देवताओं ने 'साधु-साधु' (धन्य है, धन्य है) कहकर श्री राम के उस कर्म की पूजा (प्रशंसा) की।
English Commentary
The cosmic spectators—gods and sages—validate Shri Rama's actions. Their applause ('Sadhu Sadhu') indicates that this violence was righteous (Dharmayuddha). It was not senseless killing but a necessary purification of the world from evil forces. The celestial approval restores the divine perspective after the gruesome description of the battle.

धर्म की विजय पर आकाश से देवताओं और ऋषियों ने हर्ष व्यक्त किया। 'साधु-साधु' का उद्घोष श्री राम के कार्य को नैतिक और आध्यात्मिक स्वीकृति प्रदान करता है। यद्यपि संहार भयानक था, किंतु यह अधर्म के नाश के लिए आवश्यक था, इसलिए यह पूजनीय ('समपूजयन्') माना गया।
