परिघान् पट्टिशांश्चैव शरखड्गपरश्वधान् ।
शरीरान्तकरान् सर्वे चिक्षिपुर्वानरान् प्रति ॥६-९४-७॥
parighān paṭṭiśāṃścaiva śarakhaḍgaparaśvadhān |
śarīrāntakarān sarve cikṣipurvānarān prati ॥6-94-7॥
Translation
They all hurled iron clubs, sharp-edged spears, arrows, swords, and axes—weapons capable of ending life—towards the Vanaras.

उन सभी ने परिघ, पट्टिश, बाण, तलवार और फरसे—जो शरीर का अंत करने वाले भयानक शस्त्र थे—वानरों की ओर फेंके।
English Commentary
The verse catalogues the arsenal of the Rakshasas. Unlike the Vanaras who used nature as weapons, the Rakshasas possessed sophisticated metallurgy and weaponry like 'parigha' (iron clubs) and 'pattisha' (spears). The descriptions emphasize the lethality of their assault, aimed at utterly destroying the physical bodies of the Vanara army.

यहाँ राक्षसी सेना के विविध और घातक शस्त्रों का वर्णन है। वे केवल बाणों तक सीमित नहीं थे, बल्कि हाथापाई और दूर से वार करने वाले क्रूर आयुधों का प्रयोग कर रहे थे। उनका उद्देश्य वानरों का केवल घायल करना नहीं, बल्कि 'शरीरान्तकरान्' (प्राण लेने वाला) प्रहार करना था, जो युद्ध की भीषणता को रेखांकित करता है।
