वानराश्च द्रुमान् शैलान् राक्षसान् प्रति चिक्षिपुः ।
स सङ्ग्रामो महान् भीमः सूर्यस्योदयनं प्रति ॥६-९४-८॥
vānarāśca drumān śailān rākṣasān prati cikṣipuḥ |
sa saṅgrāmo mahān bhīmaḥ sūryasyodayanaṃ prati ॥6-94-8॥
Translation
The monkeys too hurled trees and rocks at the Rakshasas. At sunrise, that battle became mighty and terrifying.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वानरों ने भी राक्षसों के प्रति वृक्षों और शिलाओं को फेंका। सूर्योदय के समय वह संग्श्री राम अत्यंत महान और भयानक हो गया।
English Commentary
The Vanaras retaliate with their characteristic weapons: trees and mountain peaks. The mention of sunrise sets the temporal context; the slaughter began with the first light of day. The contrast between the forged weapons of the demons and the raw, natural weapons of the monkeys highlights the clash between technological might and primal strength empowered by devotion.

राक्षसों के कृत्रिम शस्त्रों के उत्तर में वानरों ने प्रकृति प्रदत्त शस्त्रों (वृक्ष और पत्थर) का प्रयोग किया। 'सूर्योदय' का समय यह बताता है कि यह युद्ध सुबह ही आरंभ हो गया था। प्रकाश के साथ-साथ हिंसा का दृश्य और भी स्पष्ट और भयावह हो गया। दोनों पक्षों में समान रूप से रोष और विजय की कामना थी।
