इदं भयं महाघोरमुत्पन्नं नावबुध्यते ।
न देवा न च गन्धर्वा न पिशाचा न राक्षसाः ॥६-९५-२९॥
idaṃ bhayaṃ mahāghoramutpannaṃ nāvabudhyate |
na devā na ca gandharvā na piśācā na rākṣasāḥ ॥6-95-29॥

Ravana does not perceive this exceedingly terrible fear that has arisen. Neither the Gods, nor Gandharvas, nor Pishachas, nor Rakshasas—

English Commentary
Ravana's lack of perception ('Na Avabudhyate') is proof of his failing intellect. While 'terrible fear' stands at his doorstep, he remains stubborn in continuing the war. The women know that no power in the universe can now save them from Shri Rama's wrath. This warning serves as a harbinger of Lanka's total annihilation.

रावण का अज्ञान (न अवबुध्यते) उसकी बुद्धि के विनाश का प्रमाण है। 'महाघोरम् भयम्' उसके द्वारे पर खड़ा है, किन्तु वह अभी भी युद्ध जारी रखने की जिद पर अड़ा है। राक्षसियाँ जानती हैं कि ब्रह्मांड की कोई भी शक्ति अब उन्हें श्री राम के कोप से नहीं बचा सकती। यह चेतावनी लंका के पूर्ण विनाश की पूर्वसूचना है।
