दीप्तैस्तपोभिर्विबुधाः पितामहमपूजयन् ।
देवतानां हितार्थाय महात्मा वै पितामहः ॥६-९५-३४॥

English Commentary
The reference to the Gods' prayers appears here within the Rakshasi lament. It shows the demons knew that divine forces were mobilizing against them. यहाँ राक्षसी विलाप में देवताओं की प्रार्थनाओं का संदर्भ आता है। यह दर्शाता है कि राक्षसों को भी पता था कि उनके विरुद्ध दैवीय शक्तियाँ संगठित हो रही हैं। 'देवतानां हितार्थाय' (देवताओं के कल्याण के लिए) ब्रह्मा जी का कार्य धर्म की पुनर्स्थापना था। यह श्लोक युद्ध के पीछे की दैवीय योजना को उजागर करता है।
