उवाच देवताः सर्वा इदं तुष्टो महद्वचः ।
अद्यप्रभृति लोकांस्त्रीन् सर्वे दानवराक्षसाः ॥६-९५-३५॥
uvāca devatāḥ sarvā idaṃ tuṣṭo mahadvacaḥ |
adyaprabhṛti lokāntrī nsarve dānavarākṣasāḥ ॥6-95-35॥
Translation
Being pleased, He spoke these great words to all those Gods: 'From this day forth, in all three worlds, all the Danavas and Rakshasas—'
हिंदी अनुवाद
प्रसन्न होकर उन सभी देवताओं से यह महान वचन कहा— 'आज से तीनों लोकों में सभी दानव और राक्षस—'
English Commentary
Brahma's proclamation was the decree marking the end of the Rakshasas' golden age. Until then, they had been tormenting the worlds fearlessly. The 'great words' signify a new divine order where demonic dominance was to end. The Rakshasa women now see this ancient prophecy coming true.
हिंदी टीका
ब्रह्मा जी की घोषणा राक्षसों के स्वर्ण युग के अंत का डिक्री (Decree) थी। अब तक वे निर्भय होकर लोकों को पीड़ित कर रहे थे। 'महत-वचः' (महान वचन) उस नई दैवीय व्यवस्था को सूचित करता है जहाँ राक्षसों का प्रभुत्व समाप्त होने वाला था। राक्षसियाँ इस पुरानी घोषणा को आज सच होते देख रही हैं।
