राघवेणोपसृष्टानां कालेनेव युगक्षये ।
नास्ति नः शरणं कश्चिद्भये महति तिष्ठताम् ॥६-९५-४१॥
rāghaveṇopasṛṣṭānāṃ kāleneva yugakṣaye |
nāsti naḥ śaraṇaṃ kaściddhabhaye mahati tiṣṭhatām ॥6-95-41॥
Translation
Struck by Shri Rama like Death at the time of cosmic dissolution, there is no refuge for us who are situated in this great fear.

प्रलयकाल में काल के समान श्री राम द्वारा संहार किए जाने पर, हम जैसे महान भय में स्थित लोगों के लिए कोई शरण नहीं है।
English Commentary
Comparing Shri Rama to 'Kala at the end of an eon' highlights His infallible and inevitable impact. The phrase 'Mahati Bhaye' (great fear) reveals the pervasive terror that had settled into every atom of Lanka. When God Himself takes up arms, no material power in the universe can act as a shield. The Rakshasa women are finally accepting their destiny.

श्री राम की तुलना 'युग-क्षय के काल' (प्रलय के यमराज) से करना उनके अमोघ और अनिवार्य प्रभाव को दर्शाता है। 'महति भये' (महान भय) शब्द उस व्यापक आतंक को प्रकट करते हैं जो लंका के कण-कण में समा गया था। जब भगवान स्वयं शस्त्र उठाते हैं, तो संसार की कोई भी भौतिक शक्ति कवच नहीं बन सकती। राक्षसियाँ अपनी नियति को स्वीकार कर रही हैं।
