इतीव सर्वा रजनीचरस्त्रियः परस्परं सम्परिरभ्य बाहुभिः ।
विषेदुरार्ता भयभारपीडिता विनेदुरुच्चैश्च तदा सुदारुणम् ॥६-९५-४३॥
itīva sarvā rajanīcarastriyaḥ parasparaṃ samparirabhya bāhubhiḥ |
viṣedurārtā bhayabhārapīḍitā vineduruccaiśca tadā sudāruṇam ॥6-95-43॥
Translation
Thus, all those night-stalker women, embracing each other with their arms, were deeply dejected; oppressed by the weight of fear, they wailed loudly and most piteously.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार वे सभी निशाचर स्त्रियाँ एक-दूसरे को अपनी भुजाओं में भर कर (गले लगकर) अत्यंत दुखी हुईं और भय के भार से दबकर बड़े जोर से दारुण विलाप करने लगीं।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes with the collective wailing of Lanka. The term 'Bhayabharapiditah' (oppressed by the weight of fear) describes a psychological state devoid of hope. Embracing each other symbolizes their final shared sorrow and helplessness. It was the darkest and final chapter of Lanka's glorious history, leaving behind only tears and fire.

सर्ग का समापन लंका के सामूहिक विलाप के साथ होता है। 'भयभारपीडिताः' (भय के बोझ से दबी हुई) शब्द उस मानसिक स्थिति को बताते हैं जहाँ अब कोई आशा शेष नहीं थी। एक-दूसरे को गले लगाना उनके अंतिम सामूहिक दुःख और विवशता का प्रतीक है। यह लंका के गौरवशाली इतिहास का सबसे काला और अंतिम अध्याय था, जहाँ केवल आँसू और अग्नि शेष थे।
