तेषां तु रथघोषेण राक्षसानां महात्मनाम् ।
वानराणामपि चमूर्युद्धायैवाभ्यवर्तत ॥६-९६-४६॥
teṣāṃ tu rathaghoṣeṇa rākṣasānāṃ mahātmanām |
vānarāṇāmapi camūryuddhāyaivābhyavartata ॥6-96-46॥
Translation
Upon hearing the roar of the chariots of those mighty Rakshasas, the army of Vanaras also advanced for the combat.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन विशालकाय राक्षसों के रथों की गड़गड़ाहट सुनकर वानरों की सेना भी युद्ध के लिए उनके सम्मुख आ गई।
English Commentary
The roar of the Rakshasa chariots was meant to intimidate, but the Vanaras remained undeterred. The word 'Abhyavartata' signifies their readiness and resolve to counter-attack. The collective courage of the Vanaras here proves they were now prepared to face any obstacle under Shri Rama's leadership. The battle had reached its full and final momentum.

राक्षसी सेना का 'रथ-घोष' डराने वाला था, किन्तु वानर अब विचलित नहीं हुए। 'अभ्यवर्तत' शब्द उनकी तत्परता और प्रतिकार के संकल्प को दर्शाता है। यहाँ वानरों का सामूहिक साहस यह सिद्ध करता है कि वे अब श्री राम के नेतृत्व में किसी भी बाधा से टकराने के लिए तैयार थे। युद्ध अब अपनी पूर्ण और अंतिम गति प्राप्त कर चुका था।
