पार्श्वतः पृष्टतश्चास्य सर्वे यूथपाधिपाः स्वयम् ।
अनुजह्रुर्महाशैलान् विविधांश्च महाद्रुमान् ॥६-९७-८॥
pārśvataḥ pṛṣṭhataścāsya sarve yūthapādhipāḥ svayam |
anujahrurmahāśailān vividhāṃśca mahādrumān ॥6-97-8॥
Translation
Beside him and behind him, all the commanders of the herds themselves followed, carrying huge rocks and various great trees.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उनके अगल-बगल और पीछे, सभी यूथपति (सेनानायक) स्वयं विशाल पर्वत और विविध प्रकार के बड़े वृक्ष लेकर चले।
English Commentary
Leadership inspires action. As Sugriva moves forward, his commanders flank and follow him ('pārśvataḥ pṛṣṭhataśca'). They carry nature's weapons—rocks and trees. This visualizes a moving fortress of warriors, rallying around their king to turn the tide of battle.

राजा के आगे बढ़ते ही अन्य सेनानायक भी उनके साथ हो लिए। यह नेतृत्व का प्रभाव है। 'स्वयम्' शब्द दर्शाता है कि उन्होंने किसी आदेश की प्रतीक्षा नहीं की, बल्कि स्वेच्छा से अपने राजा का साथ दिया। यह वानर सेना की एकता और सामूहिक शक्ति का प्रदर्शन है।
