ततो भग्नप्रहरणौ मुष्टिभ्यां तौ समीयतुः ।
तेजोबलसमाविष्टौ दीप्ताविव हुताशनौ ॥६-९८-२५॥
tato bhagnapraharaṇau muṣṭibhyāṃ tau samīyatuḥ |
tejobalasamāviṣṭau dīptāviva hutāśanau ॥6-98-25॥
Translation
Then, with their weapons broken, both of them, filled with energy and strength, clashed with their fists like two blazing fires.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर हथियारों के टूट जाने पर, तेज और बल से युक्त वे दोनों प्रज्वलित अग्नियों के समान, मुक्कों से भिड़ गए।
English Commentary
When all weapons were destroyed, hand-to-hand combat ensued. Both are compared to 'hutaashanau' (fires), reflecting their rage and internal energy. This was now a test not just of skill, but of pure physical strength and endurance.
हिंदी टीका
जब सभी हथियार नष्ट हो गए, तो 'बाहुयुद्ध' (मल्लयुद्ध) आरंभ हुआ। दोनों को 'हुताशनौ' (अग्नि) के समान बताया गया है, जो उनके क्रोध और आंतरिक ऊर्जा को दर्शाता है। यह अब केवल कौशल की नहीं, बल्कि शुद्ध शारीरिक शक्ति और सहनशक्ति की परीक्षा थी।
