अश्वान् जघान तरसा स्यन्दनं च बभञ्ज तम् ।
मुहूर्ताल्लब्धसञ्ज्ञस्तु महापार्श्वो महाबलः ॥६-९९-१०॥
aśvān jaghāna tarasā syandanaṃ ca babhañja tam |
muhūrtāllabdhasañjñastu mahāpārśvo mahābalaḥ ॥6-99-10॥
Translation
...forcefully killed the horses and smashed that chariot. (Meanwhile), within a moment, the mighty Mahaparshva regained consciousness.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...वेगपूर्वक (उस शिला से) घोड़ों को मार डाला और उस रथ को तोड़ दिया। (इस बीच) पल भर में महाबली महापार्श्व होश में आ गया।
English Commentary
Giving the enemy no chance to recover, Jambavan destroyed his vehicle. The destruction of horses and chariot cripples a charioteer. However, Mahaparshva was no ordinary warrior; he regained consciousness in a 'muhurta' (moment), demonstrating his demon-like resilience.

जाम्बवान ने शत्रु को संभलने का मौका न देते हुए उसके वाहनों को नष्ट कर दिया। घोड़ों और रथ का विनाश रथी को पंगु बना देता है। किन्तु महापार्श्व भी साधारण योद्धा नहीं था; वह 'मुहूर्तात्' (क्षण भर में) पुनः चेतना में आ गया, जो उसकी राक्षस सुलभ सहनशक्ति को दर्शाता है।
