जग्राह परिघं घोरमङ्गदः क्रोधमूर्च्छितः ।
तस्याङ्गदः प्रकुपितो राक्षसस्य तमायसम् ॥६-९९-१३॥

English Commentary
'Krodhamurcchita' is a state where one can think of nothing but rage. Angada resorted to the same 'parigha' (iron club) that had previously felled Mahaparshva. This time, his intent was not just to injure, but to kill.

'क्रोधमूर्च्छित' अवस्था वह है जहाँ व्यक्ति क्रोध के अतिरिक्त कुछ और नहीं सोच पाता। अंगद ने पुनः उसी 'परिघ' (लोहे की गदा) का सहारा लिया जिसने पहले महापार्श्व को गिराया था। इस बार उनका उद्देश्य केवल घायल करना नहीं, बल्कि वध करना था।
